Sensor Board

The pressure sensor unit is necessary in order to be able to use the OpenVario as a glider flight computer with integrated electronic variometer. Currently the OpenVario project does not support any electronic compensation, only the pressure decrease at the TEK probe is processed.
When installing the sensor board in the OpenVario housing we recommend sealing the threads of the hose connectors with a sealant not containing silicone. Under certain circumstances, silicone may have negative effects on the pressure sensors over time.
