Battery switch (uninterruptible)

Robust and proven uninterruptible battery changeover switch for two batteries. When switching over, both batteries are briefly connected in parallel, which prevents electrical consumers in the on-board electrical system from shutting off during the switching period. The alternative to temporarily connecting both batteries in parallel is a capacitor with a large capacity, which supplies the on-board devices with energy during the switchover. Battery Switching Capacitor

• Switch with 3 positions (Bat 1; Bat 1 & Bat 2; Bat 2)
• Panel drill hole Ø12 mm
• Connection: soldering or crimping (4.8 mm blade terminal)
• Contact rating 5 A / 25V DC for resistive load

Note: Permanent parallel connection of two batteries with different ages / capacities / charge status is not recommended, as this reduces the lifetime of the batteries. Therefore, switch to either battery 1 or 2, whereby the center position of the switch is only used briefly during the switching process.
